The Splinter was founded in 1992 as a small business specialized in furniture hardware, restorationmaterials and maintenanceproducts. The Splinter started working out of a small building in Terborg(The Netherlands). In the following 17 years The Splinter grew so much that a larger facility was needed. So we relocated to the Oerseweg 5 in Ulft. Not only did the business grow but our assortment as well. Nowadays the emphasis is no longer on hardware alone. As a matter of fact we are shifting our emphasis over to products such as :

Decorative items
Marbel flooring
Stone wallcladding
Wide assortment of timber panels (teak,oak and pine)
Our products are of the highest quality and are being imported from countries such as Poland, Sweden, Germany, Vietnam, China, Indonesia and India. In order to maintain the quality we made strict deals regarding such things as the drying time of out wooden products. To maintain a good working relationship with our employees overseas we visit the facturies regurlarly
